The Grey Mountain Collection brings the celebration to the hearth where we contemplate our sleeping earth from the protective folds of our home. Using glass beads in timeless earth tones, such as black, silver, and amber-brown, we share the experience of winter, the season of story. The frozen stillness of a winter night is punctuated by a sparkling of precise, crystalline stars. Somewhere there is a bewitching glow of embers caught behind a windowpane, exhaling breaths of black woodsmoke that rise, fall and disappear into the darkness, mimicking the slumber of grey mountains. The desert slumbers and the bears' dream. The wolves sing food songs that raven hears. Now is the time of storytelling, of filling long nights with lessons learned by quiet listening.
